Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Led Apps Gen (“we”, “our”, “us”) handles information when you use Canada Fishing Calendar (“the App”). We publish the App on Google Play under package ca.on.fmz16.calendar. By using the App, you agree to this policy; if not, discontinue use.

1. What the App does

The App shows a fishing-oriented weather calendar based on a forecast location you choose, your regional settings, and comfort-style heuristics. It is an informal planning aid only. It does not provide legal advice, fishing regulations, licensing, quotas, harvest limits, area closures, boating safety, or ice-travel guidance. You are responsible for confirming all rules and conditions before you fish.

2. Accounts and our servers

The App does not require you to create an account. We do not operate our own subscription service or social network for fish logs in this release. Information you enter is processed on your device and by the third‑party services listed below—not on servers we operate for profiling you across apps.

3. Data stored on your device

Using local storage on your device, the App may keep:

• Province or territory, units, forecast pin coordinates, and filter preferences
• Cached weather or forecast responses so the App can reopen without downloading everything again
• Whether you purchased the optional “remove ads” upgrade (mirrored alongside Google Play entitlement)

Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes that data except what Android backups or manufacturer tools may retain according to your device settings.

4. Third parties and transfers

Over the internet, the App communicates with organisations whose own policies apply when you use the App:

• Weather & place search: Providers such as Open‑Meteo for forecasts and geocoding, and Environment and Climate Change Canada feeds when reachable, receive requests associated with approximate coordinates you selected. Review Open‑Meteo and applicable Crown / agency terms.
• Google Play: Delivers installs, updates, and in‑app billing. See Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
• Advertising: The free tier may display ads through Google (for example AdMob). Google may use device or advertising identifiers, IP-related signals, diagnostics, and similar data to serve and measure ads, consistent with consent where required. See AdMob disclosures and Google’s privacy policy.
• Consent & message UI: Where applicable, Google’s User Messaging Platform may show banners or forms relating to personalised ads—per Google’s programmes in your region.

5. Purchases

If you purchase “remove ads”, payment is handled by Google Play. Google shares with us confirmation needed to honour the purchase (such as entitlement state)—not your full card number or Google password.

6. Analytics

Apart from advertisement-related measurement that Google may operate when ads are enabled, we do not ship a separate first‑party analytics service in the App solely to identify you personally.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information through the App ecosystem, please contact us and we will work with you to address it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including Canada), privacy laws may give you rights of access, correction, deletion, objection, portability, or complaint to a supervisory authority—subject to exemptions. Advertising-related choices are often managed through Android system settings and your Google account; you can also uninstall the App at any time.

9. Security

We depend on HTTPS where applicable and the security of the Android OS. Data handling is imperfect in any product; we cannot promise absolute protection.

10. Changes

We may revise this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do; continued use of the App after a posted update means you accept the revised wording.
